Installation Instructions:
    What you'll need:
    • Pipe (minimum 2' length) diameter matched to existing water supply line - PVC preferred
    • Shutoff valve
    • 2 Unions
    • 2 1" male adaptors
    • PVC Glue
    • Teflon tape
    • Hacksaw

Please read the instructions in full before beginning installation.
  1. The Geva system must be installed downstream of the main inlet shutoff valve. If possible, choose a location for the Geva system close to an existing drain system.
  2. Create a piping assembly for the Geva system. Cut two 9" lengths of pipe, preferably PVC. For best water flow, match the diameter of this pipe to the existing inlet line pipe.
  3. Assemble equal lengths of pipe to each of the male adaptors.
  4. Add a union to the middle of each length of pipe.
  5. Thread the male adaptors to each side of the Geva system using Teflon tape.
  6. Screw the included drain valve and cap to the bottom of the Geva system.
  7. Close the main shutoff valve and drain the system.
  8. Cut out a section of the water inlet pipe to fit the Geva system assembly.
  9. Using approved installation methods, install the assembly to the main water inlet line. IMPORTANT: Geva system must be installed with the red arrows pointing in the direction of water flow. For best results, install the Geva system with the drain at the bottom. Avoid soldering near the Geva system. If you must do so, cover it with a wet rag to protect it.
  10. Downstream of the Geva system, install a second shutoff valve. This lets you carry out maintenance without draining the whole system and prevents air from entering the line.
  11. If you have a drain nearby, remove the drain valve cap and attach a fitting and hose leading to the drain.
  12. Ensure the drain valve is closed, and open both shutoff valves. NOTE: It takes a few days for the Geva system to clean your pipes and begin providing better water.
